Threats Made Against Two East Texas School Districts

Quitman ISD made parents aware of a threatening social media post involving two junior high school students, but the date mentioned had already passed. The students were immediately isolated and police were notified. No weapons were found on campus.

Two juveniles have been arrested by Van Zandt County Deputies following an investigation into threats made against Edgewood ISD. Investigators say there is no current known danger to the public or the school district.
