Trial Scheduled Again, In Child’s Death

The trial is scheduled Monday for a Hunt County woman charged in connection with the death of a four-year-old boy. Officials say 27-year-old Courtney Renae Rodriguez has pleaded not guilty to Injury to a Child by Omission. She allegedly failed to get medical treatment for Carson Rodriguez shortly before he died. Her boyfriend, Ricky Lee Trenton Overly is serving ten years in prison for Injury to a Child.
