President Trump is coming back to Texas Tuesday, in what may be his final act as president. The president will visit a section of the border wall today to celebrate the completion of 450-miles of refurbished fencing. The border wall was one of the main themes of President Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. He famously said Mexico would pay for it. But over the last four years, that burden has fallen on American taxpayers, and 45 miles of the new wall is up.
