Rules are changing for Texans receiving unemployment payments. The Texas Workforce Commission ruled Thursday that fear of Coronavirus is no longer a valid reason to turn down a job. The ruling rescinded a practice that gave unemployed workers permission to refuse a job for medical reasons and still keep receiving unemployment. The TWC cited steeply declining COVID-19 case counts and easy access to vaccines.
