Two Jailed After Three-County Chase

Grand Saline Police arrested two people, including a wanted fugitive, following an attempted traffic stop and a pursuit through three East Texas Counties. Law enforcement agencies from Smith, Wood, and Van Zandt counties, as well as State Troopers and a DPS helicopter, assisted. One of the suspects had been wanted by TDCJ for over a year. The driver was charged with Evading Arrest and Detention with a vehicle. There were no injuries and names have not been released.
