Two Lamar County Schools Make Changes

Two schools in Lamar County are changing to a shorter school week. The North Lamar and Chisum ISD Board of Trustees voted to adopt a four-day school week. Chisum begins with the 2024-25 school year. According to the district’s website, students will start six days earlier and have an hour longer of instruction, with school ending at 4:10 pm.
