UIL State Executive Committee Meeting Results

AUSTIN, TX — The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League met Thursday to hand down decisions on student-athletes eligibility.

The committee granted a student-athlete from Tenaha High School an appeal for varsity eligibility. After hearing testimony from all parties, they determined that this student did not change schools for athletic purposes.

The committee denied a student-athlete from Silsbee High School’s appeal for varsity eligibility, upholding the previous ruling of the district executive committee.
