United Way Of Lamar County, Homelessness Coalition Looking To Repair Senior’s Homes

The United Way of Lamar County in collaboration with the Lamar County Homelessness Coalition’s HomeStay Program will be making repairs to senior citizen’s homes to keep them safe and secure and enable them to stay in their homes. This is funded by a grant from United Way Worldwide. Volunteers are needed for this DAY OF ACTION on Saturday, June 22.  Sign up is at 8:00 am at the United Way office parking lot at 2340 Lamar Avenue and duties will be assigned.
