Upshur County Man Sentenced For Sexual Assault

Upshur County’s court sentenced a 74-year-old Upshur County man for sexually abusing two minors. Winston David Tackett of Diana pleaded guilty to Aggravated Sexual Assault of two different underage girls and was sentenced to 50 years in prison by Judge Dean Fowler. He will not become eligible to apply for parole until he’s 100.
