Woman Sentenced In Child’s Death

Twenty-four-year-old Daylain Anisse Jones of Longview, who made a gun available to her boyfriend’s 3-year-old daughter who fatally shot herself has been sentenced to 330 days in the county jail. The child’s father, 25-year-old Manuel August, Jr is awaiting his trial on the same misdemeanor charge.
