Wood County Jury Deliberating Murder Verdict

A Wood County jury began deliberations Tuesday afternoon in the murder trial of Jason Walters. Walters was accused of fatally shooting 18-year-old Chris Griffin in an alley behind the EZ-Mart convenience store in Mineola. The judge in the case instructed that they could find Walters guilty or not guilty of murder, or the lesser offense of manslaughter. The jury resumes deliberations this (Wednesday) morning.
