A&M-Texarkana sets Teacher Career Fair

TEXARKANA, Texas – Texas A&M University-Texarkana will host a Teacher Career Fair Tuesday, April 3, from 9:30-11:00 a.m. in Eagle Hall on the first floor of the University Center on the campus of Texas A&M University-Texarkana, 7101 University Ave., Texarkana, Texas.

The Teacher Career Fair provides teacher education students and other job seekers with an opportunity to visit in person with more than 20 prospective employers from area educational organizations.

Represented are the following school districts at the Teacher Career Fair- Pewitt CISD, Liberty Eylau ISD, Atlanta ISD, Como Pickton ISD, Ferris ISD, Lafayette ISD, Gilmer ISD, New Diana ISD, Hooks ISD, Texarkana, TX ISD, Caddo Schools, Texarkana, AR ISD, and Pleasant Grove ISD. Opportunities Inc. will have representatives present at the event.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for not only our students but area educators,” said Tina Boitnott, director of the office of career development at A&M-Texarkana. “We appreciate the participation of the school districts, the community, and the students to create opportunities to further their career.”
