Former Harrison County Deputy Indicted, Arrested

A former Harrison County Deputy who was fired in December has been indicted and arrested for Official Oppression. Charles “Chase” Dotson is accused of striking a prisoner in his custody in the face and head. A civil lawsuit has also been filed by the inmate against Dotson. Official Oppression is a Class A Misdemeanor.
