Appellate Court Upholds Sexual Predator’s Conviction, Sentence

The Sixth Court of Appeals has upheld the conviction and sentence of a 56-year-old Northeast Texas man. Rickey Wayne Willis was convicted in Bowie County of the continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 involving a girl who testified she was two or three when the abuse began. He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
