A North Texas man was critically injured Sunday afternoon after a sky diving excursion went wrong. After jumping out of an airplane, the 54-year-old man’s parachute did not fully open, and he landed in a field near Whitewright in Fannin County. The man, who has not been identified, was airlifted to the Plano Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition. Fannin County deputies are investigating the incident.
