Woman Charged With Defrauding Elderly Couple

A grand jury indicted an East Texas woman for allegedly exploiting a mentally disabled couple to fund gambling activities. This same woman was formerly involved with a volunteer group whose goal was to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Reportedly, 43-year-old Kristi Deshay Perryman, of Whitehouse, is being held on bonds totaling $200,000. The charges are 2nd degree felonies.
