A local man convicted of murdering a City of Commerce Code Enforcement Officer is facing lethal injection Tuesday night. 33-year-old Adam Ward was condemned for fatally shooting 44 year old Michael “ Pee Wee” Walker 11 years ago after an argument outside Ward’s home. Lawyers claim that Ward is delusional and are asking the US Supreme Court to stop the execution. Ward maintains the shooting was in self-defense.
