Paris Police Report Thursday (Dec 17)

Officers arrested Jared Steven Lawson, 34, of Paris, at his residence Wednesday afternoon at 3:40. Lawson had two felony warrants charging him with indecency with a child by contact and aggravated sexual assault of a child. They booked Lawson, and he is in Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to a burglary of a residence in the 400-block of NE 13th St at 10:24 Wednesday night. The victim reported that someone pried the front door open to gain access and stole a 32” television. The incident is under investigation.

Paris Police responded to 74 calls for service and arrested three people on Wednesday (Dec 16).
