NLISD Considering Bond Issue

A North Lamar ISD Community Advisory Committee has recommended a nearly $49 million bond issue to the Board of Trustees. The recommendation is for five propositions to be on the ballot, $40million for academics; $1.8 million for school buses, $405,000 for technology, $2 million for athletics, and $4.2 million for fine arts. The committee included parents, teachers, community leaders, a former superintendent, and financial and construction experts.
