Lamar County Commissioners Hold Off On Property Purchase

The Lamar County Commissioners Court has again held off purchasing about seven acres surrounding a gas station at 2805 N. Main St in Paris. Commissioners are still concerned about soil conditions surrounding the tanks. However, commissioners agreed they needed a site for a new backup emergency operations center, including offices, classrooms, and storage.
