Sulphur Springs Police conducted a traffic stop in Sulphur Springs and learned that the driver had an outstanding warrant for Violation of Parole. They arrested 61-year-old Philip Edward Cork, and he is in the Hopkins County Jail.

A State Trooper arrested a Greenville couple after a traffic stop in Hopkins County. He found three large bongs filled with marijuana
and two handguns. The couple was arrested for possession of marijuana and unlawfully carrying a weapon and later released after posting a $3000 bond on the misdemeanor charges.
