Boil Water, Water Restrictions For Commerce

The City of Commerce has issued a Boil Water notice due to conditions at the aging water treatment plant. City officials hope the water notice will lift by Wednesday. Meanwhile, the city has also issued mandatory water usage restrictions. They will likely remain in place at least through the weekend as the treatment plant is struggling to meet demand because of the hot, dry weather and a leak earlier this month.
