Bond Election Discussion on Tap for Paris City Council Tonight

The Paris City Council will meet tonight and members will focus on the upcoming bond election. Mayor Hashmi says the proposed $11 million bond issue  with a tax increase will be offset by a decrease in PJC property taxes. Money raised if voters approve the tax proposal on the May ballot could be used for street, road and bridge construction and repairs, or could be used for improving parks, trails and recreational facilities.
