CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – For the second consecutive year, LeTourneau University women’s golfer Alisa Wilson has been named a Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar, as announced by the WGCA on Wednesday, July 5.

Wilson, a senior from Snohomish, Washington, was one of 952 women’s collegiate golfers from NCAA Division I, II, III and the NAIA to earn the honor from the WGCA, which has some of the most stringent criteria (minimum GPA of 3.50) among all college athletics. The senior played in nine tournaments this past season and averaged a 91.33 stroke average in 18 total rounds while recording five top-20 finishes and two top-15 finishes.

The honor comes just one week after Wilson was named the American Southwest Conference Fred Jacoby Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year back on June 27.

Wilson graduated summa cum laude this past May, having earned a degree in Microbiology with a 3.95 GPA.
