Filing Period Under Way for County Office in Lamar County

The filing period is underway for those looking to run for county office in Lamar County. So far eight people have filed, including Republican Ray Null, who is seeking the nomination for County Judge. Candidates must officially file with the elections office before they can legally accept campaign contributions.
