DPS Investigating Northeast Texas Train Crash

State Troopers are investigating to determine the cause of a wreck involving a Union Pacific freight train and a car in Bowie County on Christmas Eve. So far, they haven’t determined if the vehicle was hit by the front of the train or the car hit the rear of the train. Apparently, the train kept going, possibly unaware that it was hit. The driver of the car suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
