Day one of the Paris Holiday tournament is in the books. The Clarksville Tigers won both their games beating Prairiland 84-51 and Pine Tree 64-59. Clarksville trailed by 16 at the half against Pine Tree before making the comeback.
Prairiland also lost to Waxahachie Life 68-45. The Paris Wildcats easily won both of their games in day one. They took care of New Boston 82-33 and then beat Willis 73-43.
Rivercrest lost both its games. Falling to Greenville 71-56 and then to Kilgore 47-39. And North Lamar split its two games. Losing to Commerce 60-47 and the defeating Teague 53-45.
Pool play continues this morning at 8:00 with bracket play starting at 4:00 pm.
In the Ector tournament, the Chisum Mustangs were down 21-6 against Ector but came back to win 50-49.
While the Lady Mustangs came away with a 55-23 win over Trenton.
On the ice last night, Anton Khudobin recorded 49 saves in net as the Stars blanked the Predators in Nashville 2-0.
