Two Rivercrest Students Die In Friday Afternoon Crash

Authorities have identified two Rivercrest High School students killed in a collision on Hwy 37 Friday afternoon. A preliminary report by State Troopers indicates that 17-year-old Brandon Early, of Reno, was making a U-turn in the middle of the highway when he was struck by a pickup driven by 18-year-old Kolby Fletcher. Although both students were wearing seat belts, they were pronounced dead at the scene.
