Man Electrocuted At East Texas Power Plant

Cherokee County Deputies are investigating possible electrocution at the Luminant power plant at Lake Stryker. Initial indications are that a man was unresponsive for about two hours while EMS and firefighters with the Rusk Fire Department’s ladder truck worked to get the man off of a platform. The man was later pronounced dead. The incident occurred at about 3:00 pm.
