Abbott Issues Executive Orders For Hospitals

Governor Greg Abbott announced Sunday that he has issued executive orders to allow hospitals to treat two patients in a room, rather than one. He also directed health care workers to postpone all “elective or non-essential” medical procedures. The action was taken to expand hospital capacity. State health officials say 334 people have tested positive for the virus in Texas.
