One Killed In ATV Vs. Pickup Crash

One person is dead after an ATV and vehicle crashed on State Highway 21 in Cherokee County over the weekend. The ATV collided with a Chevy Tahoe, and the driver of the ATV, 36-year-old Ronterreal Mumphrey of Alto, was ejected and pronounced dead at UT-Health in Tyler.

Motorcyclist Killed In Hopkins County Crash

The DPS has identified a motorcyclist killed Friday evening on State Highway 11, west of Hopkins County Road 2401, as 47-year-old Kenneth Higdon. Higdon reportedly failed to maintain a single lane and ran off the road. Justice of the Peace B.J. Teer pronounced Higdon deceased at the scene.
