Paris ISD Campuses ‘Stuff the Bus’ For Families In Need

Paris ISD campuses competed in the third annual Stuff the Bus Thanksgiving competition. A total of 2,285 boxes were delivered to the Downtown Food Pantry. Paris Junior High School received the Traveling Turkey Trophy for the second year in a row for the most boxes collected.

Paris Man Arrested For Attacking Woman

Paris Police Officers responded to a disturbance call in the 2400-block of North Main and were told by a complainant that she had been choked and assaulted. Officers observed injuries consistent with the assault and arrested Marcus Ellis. Ellis was also found to have the Motion to Revoke Probation.

The OSBI is investigating a suspicious death in Choctaw County Sunday. Deputies requested OSBI assistance after 48-year-old Jamie Williams was found unresponsive at his home in Fort Towson.
