Houston Begins Enforcing Mask Orders, Fines $250

  Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner on Monday ordered police to begin issuing $250 fines for people disobeying state mask orders. Turner said he’s hoping the order will help stem a summer spike of COVID-19 that is now responsible for at least 7,000 confirmed deaths in Texas.

City of Paris, Lamar County to Aid Health District
