COVID-19 Claims Another Life In Lamar County

Lamar County Health officials received notice Friday of another death from Coronavirus. The latest patient to die was a 76-year-old woman. The cumulative total at the last report of the virus’s positive cases was 1,430, with 1,172 recoveries, and there are currently 179 active cases of COVID-19 in Lamar County. There have been a total of 36 deaths in the county.
