Today is the deadline for candidates to file for the March Primary election for their party’s nomination for national, state and county offices. Candidates for Lamar County offices should register at the Elections Office in the Lamar County Annex building, 231 Lamar Ave. Filing in Red River County should be made with the county clerk’s office. Fannin County should file with their respective party chairs.
