East Texas Man Dies Of Legionnaires Disease

KETK is reporting that the CEO of North East Texas Health has confirmed the death of an East Texas man from Legionnaires Disease. He was identified as Ruben Gutierrez, a longtime Tyler community leader and an advocate for immigrant rights. NET Health has said seven people are confirmed to have Legionnaire’s disease in East Texas. The only thing they all have in common is they all visited the East Texas State Fair. Five other people have symptoms but have not been confirmed as having the disease.
