Evictions, Debt Collections Can Resume In Texas

The Texas Supreme Court stopped all evictions in the state on March 19. Last week, the court ordered both evacuations, and debt collections could resume Tuesday. Eviction notices could be delivered starting Tuesday with court hearings allowed to begin next week. Several counties, however, including Dallas, Bexar, and Travis, have postponed any eviction hearings until June.
