This time the No. 5 ranked Midlothian Heritage will travel up here to face Paris. That game is on 101.9 KBUS. Robert High and I will have all the action beginning with a 7:00 pm pregame show.

On Mix 107.7, the Rivercrest Rebels will try to get past the Area Round as they play the N0. 7 ranked, Crawford. Adam Routon and Aaron Routon will have all the action from the Gopher Warrior Bowl in Grand Prairie starting at 7:00 pm with a pregame.

And on KOYN 93.9, the Cooper Bulldogs will try to build on their winning streak when they play Bosqueville in Rusk. Mike Clark and Tom Caldwell will have the play by play beginning at 7:00 pm with the pregame.

On the basketball court tonight, the Honey Grove Lady Warriors will host Detroit, and the Paris Wildcats will host Anna. They moved that game to 5:00 pm due to the football game.

Chisum lady Mustangs will host North Lamar, the North Lamar Panthers will host Whitewright, and the Prairiland girls will host Daingerfield.

They expect Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson to miss the entire 2020-21 season after an MRI confirmed a torn right Achilles tendon, the team announced Thursday. The five-time All-Star was injured Wednesday while competing against current and former NBAers at a Los Angeles gym. He missed the entire 2019-20 campaign after tearing his left ACL during Game 6 of last year’s NBA Finals.
