Grant Approved For Passenger Rail Service From DFW To Atlanta, Georgia

The Federal Railroad Administration has awarded a $500,000 grant to study I-20 passenger rail service through East Texas. The East Texas Council of Governments announced the project would connect Dallas/Fort Worth to Atlanta, Georgia. The project would pass through Marshall, Longview, and Mineola. There is yet to be an estimated time to complete the study.
