Sulphur Springs Police stopped 36-year-old Carolyn Suzanne Hinson of Mt Pleasant for a traffic violation, and she reportedly refused to give officers her name and then gave them a false one. Officers later identified her, turned up just over three grams of methamphetamine, and gave her multiple charges. Her bond is $43,000.

Officials arrested 30-year-old Kelsey Devon Carillo for violating the probation she was on for Possession of more than four but less than 200 grams of a Controlled Substance. She’s in the Hopkins County Jail without bond.

State Troopers stopped a Scroggins man for speeding in Hopkins County. They discovered the driver, 48-year-old Larry Murl Smith, was wanted on a Kaufman County warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Mugshot not available
