Hopkins County Commissioners To Hold Hearings On Tax Rate

Hopkins County Commissioners voted Monday to keep the tax rate the same, but still will come out  ahead. That’s because the property appraisal values have risen and there is about quarter million dollars of new property on the books. Public hearings on the proposed tax rate will be held at 9am on August 26 and September 3.
