Hopkins County Coronavirus Update 10.29.20

Hopkins County-Sulphur Springs Emergency Management reported only four new COVID-19 cases Wednesday but 81 recent recoveries. There are now 667 total positive cases since testing began, and there are 159 active cases, including 11 patients in Christus Mother Frances Hospital Sulphur Springs. The DSHS dashboard now shows 34 deaths from the virus.

As the latest report, Hopkins has performed 2,250 COVID tests at the center located at 128-A Jefferson Street. The Jefferson St. COVID testing site will remain open during November.
