How Long Will Schools Stay Open

As some Texas schools open up this week, one expert wonders how long they’ll stay open. Some districts are battling the Governor for the right to mandate masks, but most aren’t and the Delta Covid variant is everywhere. Dr. Peter Hotez with the Baylor College of Medicine says delta is more transmissible and masks should be mandated and vaccines mandated for every child twelve and up. He fears the virus could end up shutting schools down.
