Lamar County Commissioners to Meet This Morning About Tax Increase

Lamar County Commissioners will meet this morning at 9 and county residents will have the opportunity to give their opinions on the proposed 3% tax increase.  A second public hearing will be held on September 12th, and at that time commissioners will make their decision. Commissioners today will also consider bids for renovation to the old post office, which is now being used as the Lamar County Services Building.
