Lamar County Commissioners will meet at 9:00 this morning and are expected to continue discussing a tax abatement for Kimberly Clark. If approved, the abatement will help the company with a multi-million dollar improvement to the plant in Paris and maintain at least 500 full-time employees during the term of the abatement.
