Lamar County Historical Commission Honors Ronnie Nutt

The Lamar County Historical Commission has named Ronnie Nutt the History Maker of the Year. The announcement was made Saturday at Union Station in Heritage Park. In his absence, Nutt’s award was accepted by Commissioner Lonnie Layton. He spoke of Nutt’s love of the community and his passion for serving others. Nutt promoted numerous events, which raised thousands of dollars for the community.
