Lamar County Man Found Guilty in High Speed Chase Trial

A 50-year-old Lamar County man who led Reno Police and county deputies on a high-speed chase after an attempted traffic stop has been convicted by a Lamar County jury of eight women and four men of all charges against him. Quentin Baker was then sentenced by the same jury after the punishment phase of the trial to 35 years in prison. Baker had a lengthy criminal history and still faces additional unrelated charges.
