Las Vegas dimed to a flicker last night losing their four of five and are now 7-7 after a defeat that all but ended their playoff hopes. Derek Carr was taken from the game with an injury in their dramatic 30-27 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Cowboys will take on the 49ers Sunday at Noon and at the same time the Texans run up against the Colts.

They canceled the Sun Belt Conference football championship game Saturday between No. 9 Coastal Carolina and No. 17 Louisiana-Lafayette because of a positive COVID-19 test within the Coastal Carolina program.

HIGH SCHOOL

Mt Pleasant’s Coaches pushed back Friday’s game with Mesquite Horn. The freshmen will play at 4:00 pm in the old gym, JV starts at 4:30 pm in the main gym, and Varsity begins at 6:00 pm. There are only two games Saturday with Pittsburg. The JV plays at 10:00 am, and the Varsity follows at 11:15 am.

Rivercrest’s Cole Carson has signed with the Arkansas Razorbacks. He had received more than 20 offers from schools like Auburn, Baylor, Duke, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, and Vanderbilt.
