The Houston Texans are now talking with their associate head coach and defensive coordinator, Lovie Smith, about becoming their next head coach. Originally from Big Sandy, Smith was the coach for Chicago Bears and coached at Tampa Bay.

Bill Fitch helped turn bad NBA teams into winners and the Celtics into champions. A two-time coach of the year who guided Boston to one of its championships during a Hall of Fame coaching career spanning more than three decades has died. He was 89.

So, the U.S. has three silver medals.
Madison Chock and ice dance partner Evan Chock won with a score of 129.17, less than a point ahead of the world champion Russians, who had been penalized one point for an overly long lift. That gave Team USA the maximum of ten points and just about locked up its first silver medal in three editions of the team competition.
