A joint investigation by Mt. Pleasant Police, DPS CID, and the Franklin County Sheriff’s office has resulted in the arrest of 53-year-old Jerry Henderson on multiple counts of possession of child pornography. Mt. Pleasant Police received information about online child pornography from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. That resulted in executing a search warrant on Henderson’s home in Mt. Vernon, where investigators found he was using social media to obtain illegal material. He’s in the Franklin County Jail.

On November 24, 2023, officials arrested Jerry Henderson (53) for possession of child pornography following a joint operation between MPPD, the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations, and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation into Henderson began when MPPD received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding online child pornography. The study found Henderson was using social media to obtain illegal material. On November 24, 2023, they executed a search warrant at Henderson’s residence in Franklin County, where they found him in possession of child pornography.
Henderson was arrested and booked into the Franklin County Jail for multiple counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
